"When I came to Messiah Village four years ago, I had no personal knowledge of how to operate a computer. Thanks to you, with your willingness to teach us, I use e-mail almost daily, and visit the internet on rare occasions. A Volunteer showed me the basics of "Word", which has been of great usefulness to me for several reasons.

My thanks go to Messiah Village for making this outstanding service available to all of us who reside here. It is just another one of the things that make Messiah a great place to live."

“In using the computer I have found the web site giving jig saw puzzles quite fascinating. I use it several times a day. This site gives me over 800 puzzles to choose from and gives me the choice of the number of pieces from an easy 6 pieces to the challenging 247 pieces. If I get tired I simply click on the word “solve” and watch them go together by themselves. The variety of the shapes is amazing I too enjoy the social exchange with the residents using the other computers.”

“I have appreciated the computers that are available for the residents. It is nice to email my friends and family and not have to own a computer. It is a nice thing that Messiah does for the people who live here. Additionally, I am grateful for the help which is available such as help in the computer classroom each Monday.  Having the community volunteers willingly to come if called to assist us is a big plus. Thanks for it all and I hope it will continue to be one of the plusses.”

“Our lives at Messiah Village have been so very much changed since we have access to computers and Volunteer teachers that help us learn the ways of the cyber age!   Learning new things gives us a sense of accomplishment which is so important at this time of our lives. Otherwise we would probably be watching a lot of worthless TV. Computers are a lot of fun. My family enjoys  the cards and matching envelopes they receive. I've been able to make mailing labels and to create grids and calendars that have been great to use. I'm looking forward to doing more useful and fun things. I love the games and puzzles that  are my way of relaxing. I'm so grateful to Messiah Village and The Golden Mouse Club for these opportunities.”
